This weekend a local farm finally opened up for pick your own strawberries. Evan LOVES strawberries so we've been excited to take him to pick some himself. As always Evan surprised me by catching on to berry picking right away! He learned it in steps. Step 1. pick the berry Step 2. THROW it into the box Step 3. Pick another berry...then he realized he could eat the berries and the new progression became Step 1. pick the berry Step 2. Deposit into mouth. He had a great time and Andy and I picked berries for us to take home. Evan was especially excited to ride on the little cart that looked like a tractor and the farmers were nice enough to let him jump on. We can't wait to go back!
